where do you find scents for mineral oil?

nicholos m. asked:

i have been looking for the answer to this question for a while now. recently i bought a small bottle of massage oil and noticed that the only 2 ingredients are the mineral oil and a scent (like baby oil). and so instead of paying 5 dollars for an ounce of it pre-mixed, i want to save a few cents and make it myself. well i tried it in a simplified way (adding mineral oil to fragrance oil), and they did not want to combine and instead made bubbles. i can only assume there are certain places one could go to get the scents to put in the mineral oil. does anyone know where you can get scents for cosmetic-grade oil?

Thanks
Lanzhou

Does bare minerals really work?

jamie_0622 asked:

So, I’ve never tried it. I use benefit cosmetics but the more i see it when I surf sephoras website, makes me want to try it. I saw starter kits. Do those work? are they the same size and individual bare minerals foundations and stuff or are they smaller? im very curious about this stuff. Although some people say it works i cant get passed the fact its powder can cover so well! I will probably stop by and try it but what are your opinions on it, If you’ve used it :D And are the starter kits worth it or should i buy individually ?

Best Cosmetic Brand?

jrichelled asked:

I have true olive skin. And i dont want over the counter but anything i can buy at ulta and macys but i have been going back and forth throughout products.

Firstly foundation- i used shisedo liquid pwder for a while and it was ok but it made me look caky so i hated it then i used origins but it was messy and didnt stay on long (liquid) then i used bare minerals and iit was good but i realized it gives me a dry too shimmery look so i’m looking into prescriptives but is that good?

Then wash- used over the counter swiss scrub and pore cleanser and it dried me out. Then proactiv but it got less effective in time and worsened my skin now i’m doing Purness by shisedo and i really like it but is it suggested?

I’m hoping experienced ones or dermatologists or make up artists here!!!

i need my skin to look less dry but not too shiny and something waterproof and that stays.

Good store brand mascaras that dont harm lashes would be appreciated too.
All i want to say is that theres NO way i’m doing maryk…sorry. its due to friends who use it….

Sites and names are helpful guys. Otherwise great answers. I’m 15 BTW….
TO GABY?:

thx for the info. i never knew to put the mineral veil first…but i will try it since i have some left. i really appreciate it, but i’m looking for a change.

TO MORGAN_2:
Clinique is always the best or worst for you skin, i even talked to a representative. It was also brought out to me too they have pinker undertones while mine are as i said olivey and yellow pigmentation, few pink.

Has anyone tried the ELF cosmetic line? I saw it on the View today, then checked out the website?

Level Headed, I hope asked:

I usually use either Clinique or my new obsession, Bare Minerals. I find the BM very messy and way to pricey and I’m just getting sick of the Clinique, I’ve been using it for 10 years.

Any thoughts on the ELF make-up?

Can anyone tell me if one should wear mineral makeup when they’re having their photos taken?

Erica Y. asked:

I read an article where the writer, a makeup artist, was saying that no matter what the lighting, mineral makeup doesn’t come out right in photographs and people wearing mineral makeup end up having a strange, ghostly glow to their skin. I have an event coming up so I was wondering if I should pass on the mineral makeup this time to avoid having a strange complexion immortalized in photo albums.

Are there any makeup artists or other cosmetics people that can tell me about this? Thanks.

Is this too much makeup for a 15 year old?

ktkimm1 asked:

I am 15 (sophomore) and i just started makeup
I wear Physician’s Formula mineral powder ( just to cover up shine on my t-zones); mascara; sometimes eyeliner; lipgloss; and some shimmer using an “all over stick” from e.l.f. cosmetics on my cheeks and eyelids
Is it too much? How much makeup did you use at my age?

Do you have a recommendation for an all-natural, medium-coverage, mineral-based liquid foundation w/ sunscreen?

kee asked:

I have been a loyal user of Maven Cosmetic’s Visage Mirage liquid foundation for a few years, but it’s becoming more difficult to get their makeup. I appreciated the variety of shades, particularly developed for women of color. I have combination skin, and the liquid foundation blended flawlessly and didn’t cause breakouts. The cost was close to $30 for a 1.0 fl oz/30 mL bottle. Since I don’t use makeup every day, I don’t mind paying around that price.

So, I’m in the market for something new. Do you have any recommendations?

PLEASE NOTE: I am looking for a brand name and product name at minimum. Bonus regard for information provided on where to purchase and why you recommend the product.

I am NOT looking for general makeup advice. If you don’t know a specific answer to this question, please refrain from answering.
