Has anyone tried the ELF cosmetic line? I saw it on the View today, then checked out the website?
Level Headed, I hope asked:
I usually use either Clinique or my new obsession, Bare Minerals. I find the BM very messy and way to pricey and I’m just getting sick of the Clinique, I’ve been using it for 10 years.
Any thoughts on the ELF make-up?

It’s very hit-and-miss; some of the products are great, but there are a lot of differences in quality when it comes to the eyeshadow shades (some are chalky, some are fabulous), as with all companies. It’s a pretty safe investment, though, as far as the price goes.. if you end up hating a product, at least you only spent a dollar on it!
If you’re looking for good deals on makeup in general, try popping by your local Dollar Tree or 99 Cents Only (the big kind) stores–you’d be surprised at how much good-quality drugstore makeup you can find there. I’ve found plenty of fantastic Physician’s Formula shadows (which usually run in the $8-12 price range) there, among other things.
i don’t use elf cosmetics, a bit sketchy on it myself, but i’ve seen it, they’re brushes are well made. just liek the expensive ones. for only a DOLLAR! my boyfriend was so relieved we found elf products, but besides all that, i bought their stick foudnation– oh god was it cakely. do not buy their cosmetics, their powder is good, but not much of a selection. so if i were you, i just sick with the powder, and the brushes. they’re great! good luck…
oh, and you can find them in costco, foods co, places liek that. its a fairly new brand so you wont find them everywhere.. good luck hun.
