What is the particle size used for face powder/mineral veil microfinish powder?
Taoman asked:
Hi,
I wondered if anyone out there can tell me what the particle size is for the powders used as microfinish face powder make up like mineral veil. I believe the base is silica powder so if I can find out what the particle size is I should be able order the powder direct from a chemical supplier and avoid the mark up of the cosmetic companies.

don’t know?
contact a supplier. I think it varies. Cuz some minerals are micronized and some aren’t. I got an eyeshadow kit from a place called TKB trading (online) once. I think they sell a bunch different minerals for making makeup.
good luck
