where do you find scents for mineral oil?

nicholos m. asked:

i have been looking for the answer to this question for a while now. recently i bought a small bottle of massage oil and noticed that the only 2 ingredients are the mineral oil and a scent (like baby oil). and so instead of paying 5 dollars for an ounce of it pre-mixed, i want to save a few cents and make it myself. well i tried it in a simplified way (adding mineral oil to fragrance oil), and they did not want to combine and instead made bubbles. i can only assume there are certain places one could go to get the scents to put in the mineral oil. does anyone know where you can get scents for cosmetic-grade oil?

Thanks
Lanzhou

i know this sounds gross. but mineral oil is actually crude oil(gasoline) thats really refined. but the scents, you can probably go where they make soaps or a natural body shop and get extracts. i think they sell them at bath and body works. too.

I 2nd the baby oil as being a terrible product.
Look for an all natural oil like almond or avocado or something even nutrogena makes a better oil for you -
    look - see below.
